Education and technology transfer constitute a critical element of the IRC's mission. We have developed a set of courses covering topics in industrial refrigeration design and operation that emphasize improving system safety, efficiency, and productivity. These courses are aimed at operators, engineers, contractors, regulatory compliance personnel, and others who need to better understand refrigeration systems.
The IRC has developed an internationally-recognized series of refrigeration courses presented through the University of Wisconsin Department of Engineering Professional Development, as well as other courses developed for individual clients.
The Engineering and Professional Development has a list of the courses in the upcoming year. Most courses are held annually, based on popularity. Unless otherwise noted, all courses are held in Madison on the University of Wisconsin campus. Employees of IRC member companies are eligible for discounted enrollment fees. Online enrollment is avaiable through the University. To enroll in a particular course, click the check next to the desired course in the following table.
