Unsolicited Research Proposals (URPs):

Well prepared URPs related to the scope of the TC are encouraged. Look at the Society's Research web pages before writing your proposal because there are very specific requirements. If your resulting URP is definitely within the scope of TC 10.9, then be sure to note in your cover letter to ASHRAE's Manager of Research that you think TC 10.9 should review it. Do not send URPs directly to the TC.
