- RESEARCH - GORDON FOLLETTE
Gordon reported on the Research Committee breakfast meeting earlier today. Research funds are short of the desired annual amount of the approximately $3.3 million. A great deal of time was spent discussing RTAR, PMS, PES, etc. PES-the Scope of Work of the proposal prevails over the Work Statement, in the judgement as to whether the intent of the contract has been met. PMS-they want early contact with the Contractor to assure that the specific objectives of the contract are being met. RTAR-committees should submit a maximum of two RTAR's, but may have up to ten on proposed research items. Patrick J. Hughes is to replace Martha Hewitt.
- update on PMS for 1154-rp--Dan Dettmers(forGeorge Smith)
- first stage(original contract) is complete and the presentation of the Technical Paper will be Wednesday 26 June in Honolulu 1.

- Update on PMS for 1214-TRP--Gordon Follette
- Bryan Becker to develop a new draft for further review and feedback.
- Update on RTAR/Work Statements--Dan Dettmers
- Comparison of Refrigerated Warehouse Dock Dehumidification Techniques(RTAR Prioritized)
- We want to develop a computer model to compare various techniques and technologies available in various climates, but our Work Statement does not reflect this. Dan Dettmers to change the Work Statement.
Don Cleland suggested consideration be given to Freezer doors and Dock doors into the Dock.
Gordon Follette suggested we add the two Georgia Tech projects as references.
Dan Dettmers asked for further comments.
- Long Term Performance Characteristics of Insulated Panels (RTAR accepted)
- Gordon Follette to rewrite RTAR to achieve Priority.
Brian Webb suggested that we prepare Work Statement at the same time in order to achieve Priority 1 status.
