1997 ASHRAE Winter Meeting in Philadelphia, PA
January 27, 1997

  1. Approved minutes of past meeting, 6/24/96
  2. Membership:
    • Continue to recruit with added emphasis on representatives from manufacturers and contractors
    • Recruit from roster of IIAR, IARW and industry
  3. Organization:
    • Recruit Vice Chairman
    • Recruit Handbook Chairman
  4. Handbook:
    • Final draft for review and approval at Boston Meeting 7/97
  5. Research:
    • Floor Heating- joint sponsorship with TC 10.9 (Chair Sheperd)
    • Floor Heating Gain - joint sponsorship with TC 10.3
    • Insulated Panel & Degradation Effects - joint sponsorship with TC 10.3
  6. Chair to renew contracts for liaison with other allied professional organization, IIARW, and IIAR.
  7. George Smith reported that 953-RP (Through-the-Floor Heat Gains to Refrigerated Rooms) was approved through TC 10.8. TC 10.5 should have been included as a co-sponsor and should follow-up through the project monitoring process.
